International Medical Insurance
Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Core
Faculty and staff traveling outside the U.S. and with medical insurance through the college’s Premera health plan are eligible for access to the list of in-network providers overseas through . Simply register on the BCBS Global Core website before travel overseas. The website has lists of in-network providers in various cities worldwide. You may search to see if there are in-network providers available in your destination prior to departure.
International medical providers will not bill U.S. insurance companies (Premera) directly, so faculty and staff traveling abroad must pay for the services up front, obtain receipts for services and submit a claim to BCBS Global Core for reimbursement.
