Awarded to Whitman in January 2018 by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Diversifying the Curriculum through Community Engagement grant supports faculty-led community engaged curricular development and exploration focused on partnering with community members in the Walla Walla Valley.

through Community Engagement

Awarded to the five members of the Northwest Five Consortium in January 2020 by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Revitalizing the Humanities in the Pacific Northwest through Community Engagement grant supports capacity building for meaningful, relevant community-engaged learning. Through strategic partnerships we will undertake this work collaboratively with our community and institutional partners throughout the region.
