This is a close-up view of the caudal region of the female fetal pig with the ventral surface up.

Plastic tubes (catheters) have been inserted into two openings in the anal region:

1. The anus, between the urogenital opening and the tail
2. The urogenital opening, just dorsal to the tip of the urogenital papilla.
