What Is a Student Career Advisor (SCA)?
The Student Career Advisors are trained peer career liaisons of the Career and Community Engagement Center. They review resumes and cover letters, assist with job applications and the Whitman Internship Grant process, aid students in accessing Career Pathfinder and Whitman Connect, and offer guidance for using Handshake. They are available during their drop-in hours and for 1:1 appointments that can be scheduled over email or .

SCA Drop-In Hours for the Spring 2026 Semester:
Spring drop-in hours begin Tuesday, January 20th. All drop-in hours are held at the main CCEC Office in Reid 219 (when you walk in, look for room 224 in the back left corner). Drop-in hours are occasionally subject to cancellation, so please consult the linked Google calendar below for up-to-date information.
There will be no drop-in hours during spring break (March 16–27), but SCAs will be available during that time for individual appointments (see profile photos below for their email addresses).
Mondays, 4–5 p.m. with Emmali
Tuesdays, 4–5 p.m. with Tenzin
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. with Patrick
Thursdays, 4–5 p.m. with Sofia
Fridays, 4–5 p.m. with Sayora
