Whitman Today is an email newsletter produced by the Office of Communications. It is distributed each weekday to 吃瓜网 staff, faculty and students when classes are in session and twice a week during academic breaks.

Submissions to the newsletter are welcome! Email your requests to whitmantoday@whitman.edu for consideration.

• Feature Stories: If you have an idea for a Feature Story, please reach out in advance as space is limited.
• Noteworthy: Submit your professional or personal accomplishments to be included as space allows.
• Announcements: Submissions of 125 words or less are due by noon on the previous business day to be included in the Announcements section. For event announcements, be sure to include title, date, time, location and a brief description.
• Photo Finish: Submit your photo(s) and a brief description to be considered for a Photo Finish. In most cases, this section is used to highlight events and activities that have already taken place.
• Calendar of Events: Generally, events that are published on the main website calendar will automatically be included in the Whitman Today calendar.
