Nadir Ovcina was born in Croatia, yet he grew up in the United States and earned his BA in history and philosophy at Whitman College. Nadir has worked in a variety of educational settings, including advising American high school students on post-graduation plans, teaching oral English at a military university in China, and currently helping Whitman students fulfill their study abroad dreams. Besides having a genuine desire to travel the world, Nadir also enjoys cooking and eating, and he is fond of playing the bass guitar.
