I am broadly interested in the impacts of human activities on fish ecology, evolution and habitat. I am fascinated by all dimensions of fish biodiversity in North America, and conduct research to understand the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss. I am also interested in Open Science and meta-science methods, with the ultimate goal of synthesizing scientific knowledge to inform management and conservation decisions.
